EXCURSION TO THE MUSEUM OF KNURE
In order to feel like a part of a whole, feel the University of Radio Electronics truly “yours”, it is important not only to attend classes, but also take an active part in the life of the university and of course know its history. It is known that without the past you cannot understand the present, that’s why a group of foreign students of the Preparatory Department decided to go to the Museum of History of KNURE.
The listeners saw over a part of the exposition dedicated to the development of a unique highly sensitive complex of space equipment MARS by KNURE scientists. They were surprised to learn that a minor planet 10681 KTURE was named after our university.
The guide’s informative story and museum exhibits generated great interest. Everyone was really impressed by the bullet-pierced helmet from the World War II. A listener from Lebanon was so happy to recognize in one of the exhibits a radio receiver the same as the one kept at his home.
On this excursion, the listeners were able not only to get to know the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics better, but also improve their vocabulary.
