I WANT TO CLIMB MOUNT HOVERLA!
At the beginning of October, listeners of the Preparatory Department for foreigners of NURE visited the Department of Physical Education and Sports. They were interested in information about sports clubs that are available at our university. They were pleasantly surprised by the variety of directions and alternatives – from basketball to sambo, from football to chess, from swimming to dance aerobics.
Listeners from Lebanon, Morocco and Nigeria were attracted to the team sports, so they were excited about the football section. Our university has a football team of foreign students and all conditions for their training.
Listeners from Cameroon chose the hiking section. They were glad that in this section they can take up orienteering, rock climbing and mountaineering. They have heard a lot about the Ukrainian Carpathians and Mount Hoverla – its highest point on the territory of Ukraine. “I will definitely climb Mount Hoverla!” – Teomaga Martial said joining the hiking section.
