SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR

A Scientific and Methodological Seminar on the topic: “Innovative forms and methods in teaching languages to foreign students” was held at the Language Training Department of KNURE. The seminar addressed issues of traditional and innovative forms and methods of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language.

No doubt foreign students need the Ukrainian language to study their future specialty. Therefore, one of the main challenges is the formation of foreign language communicative competence in foreign listeners. It follows that the language learning process should not be a passive accumulation of knowledge but an active mastery of language material.

Speeches devoted to the use of interactive forms and teaching methods, as well as issues related to the problems of intensifying the educational process were of particular interest. The teachers of the department shared their methodological experience: elements of lessons using interactive technologies were demonstrated.
